Watershed Agricultural Council’s (WAC) Forestry Program

The Watershed Agricultural Council’s (WAC) Forestry Program, in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia Greene Counties, offers a robust Forest Landowner Education Program for landowners in the NYC Watershed region.  

Our programming includes:

  • In-person workshops on various forestry topics (wac forestry events page). 
  • Site visits from certified Master Forest Owners (MFO’s).
  • Women Owning Woods Initiative – Catskills & Hudson Valley Chapter 
  • Forest & Water Awareness Days.
  • Trainings for municipal officials.
