Meet with a NYS DEC stream permit forester to learn about requirements. A NYS DEC officer will also be available to discuss conditions for ticketing. Network with fellow loggers and WAC foresters about stream crossings and WAC cost share incentives. Location to be determined – likely NYC watershed region.

Topics covered include personal protective equipment, chainsaw safety features, chainsaw reactive forces, bore cutting, pre-planning the fell, and understanding hinge wood strength.
