Conservation Planner

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking a Conservation Planner. The Conservation Planner will be responsible for the development of Whole Farm Plans (WFP), maintenance and monitoring of existing WFPs and the implementation of conservation practices within the West of Hudson Catskill/Delaware Watershed region of the New York City drinking water supply.  The Conservation Planner works under the direct supervision of the Whole Farm Planning Coordinator and in an inter-agency team setting to develop whole farm plans and nutrient management plans. Qualifications and requirements are detailed in the position description available below. Salary, $57,000-$60,000.

Agricultural Program Manager – East of Hudson

The Watershed Agricultural Council seeks to hire an East of Hudson Agricultural Program Manager. The Program Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Agricultural Program in the Croton Watershed.  The Program Manager will act as a chief liaison with the general public representing the agricultural program specific to water quality initiatives. The Program Manager will provide oversight of the EOH planning and engineering departments. This position reports to the WAC Executive Director.
