Teachers and Schools
Carrying the messages of clean, drinking water into the classroom can be a daunting task. The Watershed Agricultural Council can help teachers connect students to their clean drinking water supply and the role of farms and forests in that process.
Need ideas for in-classroom discussion? Visit our Teachers Institute for trivia questions, posters and handouts.
Need materials to illustrate the clean water message? We provide educational classroom materials based on the Water & Land content. For more details, contact Heather Magnan, Communications Director (607) 865-7090, ext.217.
Time for students to experience the watershed first-hand? Apply for a field trip grant through the Watershed Forestry Bus Tour Program.
If you’re a teacher, tell us how we can help you teach children today to be stewards of the land tomorrow.
