Walterna Farm has been a participant in the Watershed Agricultural Program since 1996. The Kuhn family has a generational dairy farm in Grand Gorge, NY in the Catskill/Delaware Watershed. They have strong conservation ethic and have been active participants in many of our agricultural programs throughout the years. In 2019 they were recipients of the WAC administered Regional Conservation Partnership Program Grant. This Grant provided cost share funding from the USDA NRCS for a covered manure storage and covered Heavy Use Area Protection (HUAP) feeding/barnyard system.
